
Water for Generations evaluates the entire water, sanitation and hygiene education (WASH) system in Malawi. In partnership with local communities, Water for Generations aims to bring together the necessary stakeholders to create sustainable and lasting access to clean water and safe sanitation for all residents of Malawi.
Created with the passion to support sustainable water resources management by influencing the government to review and enact new water laws and policy frameworks, Water for Generations leads by conducting applied field research and policy analysis, institutional improvement through broad policy reform, along with dialog platforms and advocacy with water sector stakeholders in Malawi in order to generate collective and informed policy reform decisions for sustainable water supply. The organization also focuses on provision, rehabilitating, and the construction of new water sources in schools, healthcare facilities and needy villages in Malawi.
